Cinderella, the wicked step-mother and her two horrible daughters, the ball, Prince Charming, the bell ringing at midnight, the glass slipper – everybody knows the story.

But what if – for once – the story of Cinderella did not begin with the traditional ‘Once upon a time’ and instead was told by the charming singer from Brussels, Marie Warnant? During the first part of the evening, she will take you on a discovery of Massenet’s Cendrillon. And who knows? Perhaps her vision of the character, the tale and the opera is not what you imagine. Later, following the performance, she will meet Anne-Catherine Gillet, the singer in the title role of Cinderella.
