The Polish director of the new production of Lulu scheduled for this autumn will talk about his artistic journey both in the theatre and opera. Various previously unseen videos and photographs will be shown to elucidate the origins of his aesthetic and will serve to underline the originality of his poetic universe.
During the second part of the evening the feature film Gli Italiani by Lukasz Barczyk will be shown. It has never been seen in Belgium before and is in Polish with English subtitles. Krzysztof Warlikowski appears in one of the major roles alongside two of his favourite actors, Jacek Poliedzialek and Renate Jett.
