In January, director Olivier Py returns to La Monnaie with his staging of ‘La Gioconda’ by Amilcare Ponchielli. It marks his fifth visit to our opera house, after ‘Les Huguenots’ (2011), 'Hamlet' (2013), ‘Dialogues des Carmélites’ (2017) et ‘Lohengrin’ (2018).
