La Monnaie participates in the 2021 Heritage Days

In the weekend of September 18, La Monnaie will open its doors to the public. You can discover our theatre during guided tours on the occasion of the 33rd edition of the Heritage Days.

Since 1989, the Brussels-Capital Region has been organising Heritage Days. This major event at the start of the cultural year aims to bring the population closer to the heritage of their city. With "Meeting points" as this year’s theme, this 33rd edition will focus on public spaces, but also on more confidential or symbolic locations in the heart of the capital. In all, no less than 142 sites and more than 100 activities are on the programme this year.

In addition to its participation in a series of guided tours*, La Monnaie will also be the starting point for the walk "On stage: iconic Brussels cultural venues".

To ensure that the Heritage Days take place in the best possible conditions and in complete safety, visits to the sites and participation in the activities will be by reservation only, unless otherwise indicated. Reservations can be made as from September 1, via the website of Heritage Days.

*Starts on: Saturday at 10h, 12h, 15h, 17h (in English), at 11h, 12h, 13h, 14h, 16h, 17h (in French) and at 10h, 11h, 13h, 14h, 15h, 16h (in Dutch).
