Henceforth Raphaële Green may call herself an MM Laureate. General director Peter de Caluwe handed her the diploma after the Concertino of Friday 10th November 2017.
Green will keep the title of MM Laureate for life and enjoys La Monnaie’s support for the following one to three years, which will help her in launching her career. She follows in the footsteps of the tenor Pierre Derhet, who received the title last year.
Raphaële Green is far from a stranger to the public of La Monnaie. She entered the Choral Academy during her studies, became an MM Soloist and sang in various opera productions (L’Elisir d’amore, Aida, La Vestale, Macbeth) and concerts. The MM Laureate degree is a reward and a recognition for all her accomplishments at La Monnaie.
