Experience a musical discovery day for the whole family
If you have (grand)children, nephews, nieces…between the ages of eight and twelve, why not bring them along to the opera? In a family context, you can enjoy three operas and three Super Saturdays, with a whole range of activities and performances that introduce the music of the 20th century. We open the series with the rhythms and contemporary sounds of Steve Reich in the dance production Rain. Next, the scintillating music of Rimsky-Korsakov illustrates the magical Russian folk tale of The Golden Cockerel. We finish up with Madama Butterfly, perhaps Giacomo Puccini’s best-known opera.
